Check out June's Trooper of the Month below this post!
1. What do you look forward to most in the next Week?
There’s normally not a lot to look forward to here. If you’ve seen the movie “Groundhog Day” starring Bill Murray you’d understand (if you’ve not seen the movie you should). But, this week the Camp has been buzzing with excitement because Toby Keith and Ted Nugent are going to be here Saturday Night. I don’t think they are singing at this stop on their USO tour, but if the line isn’t too long I’ll try to get a picture with Toby.
2. What do you look forward to most in the next month?
There are some interesting things coming in the next month as well: D-Day Anniversary on the 6th, the Army’s Birthday is on the 14th, Bunker Hill Day on the 17th, and of course July 4th barely makes the cut-off. But I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that the 13th is marked on the calendar as well… Mary-Kate and Ashley turn 18. Doesn’t that make you feel old; remember when they were the ugly baby on “Full House”?
3. What do you look forward to most in the next year?
No surprises here… Returning home from Iraq. We’re already planning some vacations with friends after some overdue time alone with Michelle.
4. What do you look forward to most in the next 5 years?
I’m looking forward to Michelle’s graduating from Law School so we can finally take our long anticipated backpack-across-Europe vacation. We’ve got to do it before we have kids and what better way to celebrate her graduation?
5. What are your plans for the weekend and next week?
Tomorrow night I’ll be standing in line to shake hands and get a picture with Toby Keith. Then it’s back to crossing days off my calendar so I don’t forget what day of the week it is.
Before moving on to the Friday 5, I must agree with Dan, if you have not seen "Groundhog Day" it is well worth the rent. And if you are in the mood for a Bill Murray movie marathon, which is always time well spent, may I further suggest "The Man Who Knew Too Little." I would probably suggest "Lost in Translation" just to complete the marathon, but I have not seen it, so I cannot give my official seal of approval.
1. What do you look forward to most in the next week?
The excitement this week is happening on Tuesday. The Bank is closing early for a Bank picnic. We get to dress casually, so we don't attend the picnic in business clothes and can relax at the picnic. It will be a little different for me, working at the Bank in a Hawaiian shirt. So, if you are in northwestern New Jersey and walk into the Bank on Tuesday, you'll know why everything looks a little different.
2. What do you look forward to most in the next month?
Unfortunately, most of my excitement falls just shy of the month deadline. I am attending several concerts in the middle of July. Of course, Fourth of July is part of the excitement this month. Someone who works for me is getting married that weekend, so that should be fun.
3. What do you look forward to most in the next year?
That is easy. I am looking forward to working on my house. I am building a house, probably in the Blairstown area. I have a piece of land in mind, and once things become more finalized. I'll let you know more about it. I thought I had plans for the house finalized. However, I changed my mind about several key aspects, so once those are implemented into plans I'll forward the plans to Dan. Anyway, that is my excitement in the coming year.
4. What do look forward to most in the next five years?
I will really have to think about that. I will have my house and a job I enjoy. I'll have to come up with some additional goals.
5. What are your plans for the weekend and next week?
I was planning to head out today, but it is a dreary day, so I will catch up on e-mail and watch some movies. Also, this week I am interviewing two people for the contact center. Hopefully hiring both to bring us up to full staffing and probably hiring someone for the finance department on Monday. Full week. Talk to you next week.
1. What do you look forward to most in the next week?
For me it is what I am looking forward least in the next week! I start training for the new math curriculum on Monday so I get to drive 30 minutes to train from 9 - 4 for two weeks! It is just dampening my summer vacation from teaching. I am looking forward to putting curtains up in the bedroom if my husband can fix the hole he created.
2. What do you look forward to most in the next month?
More of my summer vacation! The possibility of a new dog. And traveling to see family and friends.
3. What do you look forward to most in the next year?
I always look forward to a new school year. I wish it was in a new place but I might enjoy the year being tenured. I hope that the next school year is in a place that we can start to settle into our lives together. (that means moving) And probably a few trips to WDW!
4. What do look forward to most in the next five years?
In five years, I hope to have a house, teaching in a place that makes both me and my husband happy and probably a new child. Well maybe. We'll see. 5 years is a long time.
5. What are your plans for the weekend and next week?
We saw Harry Potter 3 on Friday. And then I went to the dentist:( Saturday was spent sleeping in and going to the gym. Sunday has no plans just to do things around the apartment. Next week is training. Boo!
1. What do you look forward to most in the next Week?
The end of it.
2. What do you look forward to most in the next month?
Again, the end of it.
3. What do you look forward to most in the next year?
The end of our deployment to Iraq, and quite frankly, the end of my short time in the United States Army, and the beginning of the next phase of our lives.
4. What do you look forward to most in the next 5 years?
Hopefully, that I've graduated from veterinary school and that we are settled somewhere, happy.
5. What are your plans for the weekend and next week?
As usual, no plans but WORK.
Lewis- Lost in Translation was good, I guess...in a very Academy-Award-so-weird-and-boring-it-must-be-good sort of way. I know it got rave reviews so there must be some people who would recommend it, but I think you are right to withhold your stamp of approval until you have seen it yourself.
1. What do you look forward to most in the next week?
Two words--OUTLET MALL!!!! Lisa, Barbara, Tyler and I are going to San Marcos to SPEND BIG!!! HAHA…just trying to give Dan a heart attack...Although I may come home with a new couch! I am supposed to be off this week, but I have to work Mon. Tues and Wed. so I'm really looking forward to our trip on Thurs.
I am also looking forward to Wednesday because I have an important court hearing for two of my kids. I'm looking forward to WINNING!!!! That is, if the Judge cooperates...he rarely does, but it could be my lucky day if I have played my cards just right.
2. What do you look forward to most in the next month?
I'm looking forward to my plans for moving finally coming together and then for them to be OVER. All this pushing and pulling and planning and stressing is exhausting!
3. What do you look forward to most in the next year?
This one is easy for me too....Seeing my husband again!!!! A close second would also be to see our dear friends Mike and Margaret. I want everyone I love to be home safe and sound! I am really looking forward to the day when Dan and I will be in control of our own lives!!! That will be a new and strange experience for us! I am also looking forward to starting school, living in a new place, and meeting new people. I'm looking forward to spending more time with my family since we will be so much closer. I'm looking forward to enjoying all four seasons again...especially fall. Unfortunately all this also means that some very wonderful parts of my life will be changing. I know that’s the way it goes, but it will still be difficult to let go of the people and experiences that have made this my home.
4. What do you look forward to most in the next five years?
Lots of things!!! Finishing school, starting a new career, lots of traveling, and starting a family. (All you grandparent wannabes out there don’t need to pee your pants…its going to happen eventually!)
5. What are your plans for the weekend and next week?
Well today was spent with Matt doing some home improvements and yard work…as if he doesn’t have his own yard! Tomorrow I’ll do more work around the house and prepare for my trip to Oklahoma Mon and Tues. I also have some things to take care of for work, so hopefully I’ll be able to squeeze all that in and still make it to the Starchers for dinner!
What do you look forward to in the next week?
I look forward to playing three rec baseball games and then playing our arch rivals Vernon in our Cerbo league on Sunday.
What do you look forward to most in the next month?
I look forward to winning (hopefully) the Cerbo Championship covering about half of New Jersey. I also look forward to finishing middle school and my finals.

What are your plans for the week?
I am going to have a full schedule of baseball with 4 games would have been 6 games but two teams forfeited. I also look forward to finishing the year next week.
