With all my recent traveling, I've missed a few Friday Five's. But I'm back (for a little while anyway)

1. What was your favorite childhood toy?
My little ponies. Castle, ponies, grooming kit, little dragon friend. I had it all! (At least I felt like I did)

2. What was your favorite childhood game?
A game called Octopus. You put velcro bands around your head, wrists and ankles. Your partner did the same. A colored cube would determine what got stuck to what. Kinda like twister.

3. What was your first pet?
First and only. My family pet, Patches. A cockapoo. She is still kicking after 15 years. (Barely)

4. Favorite Childhood Cartoon?
The only ones I can think of were the Smurfs and the Snorks (I don't know if that was the name of the show but that was the name of the underwater creatures). I guess they were my favorite.

5. Plans for the coming week?
Let's see. Not much. Still summer vacation. The possibilities are endless!

I haven't been as proactive in responding to these either. So, I'll get back on track.

1. What was your favorite childhood toy?
Anything Star Wars related.

2. What was your favorite childhood game?
Outside, I enjoyed kicking a soccer ball around. Inside, Monopoly. Surprise. Surprise.

3. What was your first pet?
Officially, a brown dog with a white tipped tail, named Tippy. But the dog died when I was two. The first one I remember is the dog mentioned by Mom and Dan. As a third voice about the dog's name, it was called many things and answered to both.

4. Favorite childhood cartoon?
I agree on G.I. Joe, but I have to tie it with Transformers instead.

5. Plans for the coming week?
I am actually fairly busy this week. There is a second party on Monday to celebrate the opening of the Andover branch. Wednesday I am going to a concert with three doors down and nickel back. Saturday I am going to another concert, Alanis and bare naked ladies. And I have to renew my state ID. Talk to you next week.

1. What was your favorite childhood toy?
Star Wars stuff and Fisher-Price Little People. They were the little wooden, later plastic dolls with a head and body, but no arms or legs. I loved them!

2. What was your favorite childhood game?
Monopoly!

3. What was your first pet?
The first one I remember is a yellow labrador retriever named Ranger. He got hit by a car when he was still very young.

4. Favorite Childhood Cartoon?
Tom and Jerry, hands down.

5. Plans for the coming week?
Nope, just the usual stuff in sunny Baghdad.

1. What was your favorite childhood toy?

G.I. Joe was top on my list. I always wanted to get the jeep with the 50 cal. on top!

2. What was your favorite childhood game?

Stick ball behind Washington Elementary
School. We took chaulk to draw the strike zone on the side of the gym, drew lines in the dirt for a single, double, a triple was into the swing set(monument park as in Yankee stadium) and a home run was over the fence beyond the swing set.
3. What was your first pet?

The first pet I remember was a little black poodle ( a stray we found outside our house). Dan that sounds like someone else I know.

4. Favorite Childhood Cartoon?

Felix the Cat, Tom & Jerry, The Road Runner. The list is too long to pick a favorite.

5. Plans for the coming week?

This past Saturday Matt, Steven and I went into Yankee Stadium for the old timers game. We had a great time. We saw some of the Old old timers (Don Larsen, Phil Rizzuto, Yogi Berra, Clete Boyer, Whitey Ford, Bill Skowron, Joe Pepitone, Tom Tresh and more) and some of the not so old timers (Graig Nettles, Mickey Rivers, Roy White, Ron Guidry, Willie Randoph, Reggie Jackson, Cliff Johnson, Brian Doyle, Rich Gossage) and many more. The Yankees added another plaque to mounument park, posthumously honoring Yankee pitcher Red Ruffing and the widow of Yankee catcher Thurman Munson threw out the first pitch. The Yanks came from behind to win the game against Tampa Bay. Sunday Matt had an All Star baseball game which they won. After the game my Dad, Matt and I baled up approximately 400 bales of grass hay. No more hay cutting this week, too much rain. Monday South Jersey got 13 inches of rain in 12 hours! so I'll be hanging wallpaper in Blairstown the rest of this week.
